    1976

    Made in UK 🇬🇧

Classic British floorstanders using the famous KEF B139 flat-oval wooferpaired with the T27 tweeter.

Smooth, natural midrange with soft detailed highs and surprisingly deep bass for a compact cabinet — very musical and easy to listen to.

    Cabinet concept:

The Calinda features a coupled-cavity / labyrinth loading enclosure (inspired by transmission-line theory).

The internal path controls and absorbs the rear wave of the woofer, extending low frequencies while keeping the bass tight and clean instead of boomy.

    The KEF Calinda (circa 1976-1979) is a classic British 2-way, 3-driver standmount loudspeaker featuring a 45-liter enclosure, a 200mm B200 bass unit (SP1054), a BD139 passive radiator for low-frequency extension, and a T27 tweeter (SP1032).
