At the time, JBL offered two finishes on their first-generation studio monitors:

• A more affordable Studio Gray — built for professional environments

• A more premium walnut “blue baffle” version — aimed at hi-fi interiors

Today, this gray finish has a whole new appeal — clean, luminous, and perfectly at home in modern, minimalist spaces.

Fully restored and sounding exactly as intended — raw, direct, and true to the studio.
