The Telefunken Studio 200 Series perfectly embodies the understated elegance and engineering excellence that made German hi-fi famous around the world. Developed at the dawn of the 1980s, this modular series was designed for music lovers seeking precision, reliability, and timeless aesthetics.
With its clean lines, matte black finish, and minimalist controls, the 200 Series reflects the Bauhaus-inspired philosophy where form follows function. Every detail serves a purpose, resulting in a system that remains as modern today as it did over four decades ago.
This complete stack includes the TS200 direct-drive turntable, TA400 integrated amplifier, and TT200 FM/AM tuner. The quartz-controlled direct-drive motor of the TS200 provides excellent speed stability, while pitch adjustment allows precise fine-tuning. The TA400 delivers a refined and natural presentation with impressive clarity, low distortion, and the smooth, balanced sound signature that Telefunken components are known for. Completing the system, the TT200 offers excellent reception and outstanding sensitivity.
Built to last, each component features a solid metal chassis, quality controls, and meticulous German engineering. This is a system designed not only to sound great but to provide decades of reliable performance.
The sonic character is unmistakably German: neutral, detailed, dynamic, and effortless to listen to. Tight, controlled bass, natural midrange, and smooth highs make this system equally enjoyable with jazz, classical, rock, electronic, or vocal recordings.
A beautiful example of vintage European hi-fi that combines exceptional sound quality with timeless industrial design.
