JBL 4343B _Studio Monitors

Made in Los-Angeles, California

Late 1970s

One of JBL’s most iconic 4-way studio monitors, featuring a massive 15-inch woofer, dedicated 10-inch mid-bass driver, compression horn and ultra-high-frequency slot tweeter.

Originally designed for professional recording studios, these legendary monitors have become highly sought-after classics among vintage audio enthusiasts.

This particular pair features JBL 2205 Alnico magnet motors, reconed to 2235 specifications, combining vintage Alnico motor technology with the characteristics of the later 2235 woofer.

These monitors proudly showing their original patina. We intentionally chose not to restore the wood veneers, preserving their authentic character and decades of history.

Considered by many to be the most balanced of JBL’s legendary 4-way studio monitors, the 4343B also stands out with its distinctive vertical driver arrangement.
