They are reliably protected against overheating, overload and short‑circuits as well as high frequency and DC at the output. The 'soft start' function employs relays to insert a delay between switching on the device and the activation of the power outputs. A further circuit limits the current on power‑up, there‑by protecting the main fuses. Dynacord amplifiers constantly monitor the input‑ versus the output signal by means of super‑fast audio processors which send‑in case of non‑linear operation‑control parameters to the limiters. The limiters are thus operating dynamically and do not affect the amplifiers dynamic capabilities as they control the input gain level.
