A true classic from B&W’s golden era, the DM2 Series II perfectly reflects John Bowers’ philosophy of delivering natural, balanced, and fatigue-free sound reproduction.
Designed by John Bowers and his engineering team in Worthing, the DM2 Series II was developed during a period when B&W was becoming one of the world’s most respected loudspeaker manufacturers through extensive research and acoustic innovation.
This three-way design combines a long-throw woofer, a dedicated midrange driver housed in its own damped chamber, and a soft-dome tweeter. The result is a rich and natural midrange, beautifully reproduced vocals, and an impressively stable stereo image.
Visually, the DM2 Series II is just as appealing as it is musical. Its cabinet is fully wrapped in genuine walnut veneer, showcasing the craftsmanship and attention to detail that made British loudspeakers of the late 1970s so highly regarded.
Warm, refined, and effortlessly musical, the DM2 Series II remains one of the most charming vintage B&W loudspeakers ever produced.
